Welcome to the 53rd Avenue Community Park

SE 10 Acres of 53rd Avenue Park Underway!

Hillsboro Parks & Recreation is underway with construction on the southeast 10 acre portion of the park. A $500,000 grant from the Oregon Parks & Recreation Department (Oregon Lottery funds) will go towards the around $4 million cost of construction of this phase. Lighted artificial turf playing fields and a parking lot were completed and opened in June 2008. Soon to come are restrooms, concessions, tennis courts, basketball courts, plaza with fountain, and additional parking. Construction on the east side of 53rd could possibly start in spring 2009.
